Out of desperation, we sought care in Pretoria and, fortunately( and by the Grace of God) discovered La Vie Care in Lynwood. From our very first interaction, the level of kindness, empathy, and professionalism was astounding. The staff, including doctors, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and all medical personnel, took charge of her care, offering us hope during a very difficult time for our family (My grandmother is deeply loved)
The progress my grandmother made at La Vie Care can only be described as miraculous. Thanks to the unwavering dedication of the entire team, she walked out of the facility this morning, smiling with much less pain- , (Using a walking aid but on her own strength). Our gratitude towards Michelle and all the staff at La Vie Care is immeasurable. Their belief in “there is always hope” regardless of age/injury, relentless effort, and commitment to care have profoundly impacted our lives.
We highly recommend La Vie Care to anyone in need of their services. The staff, food and facilities are excellent. Thank you for providing care beyond our expectations. Absolute lack of care for their patients. My mother was admitted here for just a few days and we were told she is being discharged because she won’t speak to a therapist? ???? - how does a reputable healthcare institution discharge someone not on the basis of her recovering and being fully rehabilitated but because she refuses to speak to a therapist??? Their excuse is that they cannot motivate to her medical aid for her to stay another day because she is “not cooperating”. In essence, they do have the power to motivate for a longer stay, they are just lazy to actually treat their patients. Not even a public hospital would discharge someone who wasn’t fully treated.
The lady further said that she is on a “low plan medical aid” and she is welcome to stay if we’re going to be paying cash. (So the discharge is suddenly no longer about her refusal? Hm)
Still unhappy because my brother dignity was compromised.

I'm not sure if other nursing staff are real nurses who are trained and who are familiar with professional secrecy and confidentiality?but I doubt.That's why they don't care of patient dignity
